This teacher training program is addressed to beginners, as well as to individuals who already teach yoga or/and meditation and aims to create a solid basis, for those who want to deepen their knowledge and experiential wisdom

The training
During the program, we will work with a detailed curriculum designed and taught by Michalis Mourtzis, which includes Q&A sessions on issues and challenges you face during your practice

Theoretical study of yogic, psychological, and spiritual methods for healing and Self-realization, including among others the koshas, chakras, nadis, chitta, manas, buddhi, ahamkara, samskaras, and vasanas
Anatomy and physiology
Physiology and energetic / subtle anatomy
Philosophy, ethics and lifestyle
Philosophy and ethics for the meditation teacher and understanding how to develop a healthy lifestyle. Study of the teachings of the great spiritual masters of the past and present
Teaching and communication skills
Principles of presentation, observation, assisting/correcting students, teaching methods; qualities of a teacher and the learning process for students. Receiving impressions, observing others, teaching, and feedback.

The foundation of the training consists of traditional approaches from different traditions, mainly those of Tantra (Kashmir Shaivism) and Vedanta, as well as from Buddhist sources of the Mahayana and Theravada vehicles.
Also, the fundamental principles of teaching meditation in groups by the participants will be developed in relation to:

After the third module, you will be asked to begin preparing your final practice, which you will present in front of the instructor during the fourth module

Meditative practices of the Buddhas: Chenresig, Green Tara, Manjushri, Medicine Buddha, from the Tantric Buddhism tradition (Vajrayana)


Module 4: 8 personal sessions
-
An intensive fourth module with transmissions, initiations, and in-depth practice. 8 online one-on-one personal teachings & initiations with the instructor Michalis Mourtzis

Here, participants will be asked to present their first lesson as teachers to the instructor, as a result of their preparation after completing the third module
Interested individuals can attend whichever module(s) they choose, without being required to complete the entire program. To receive certification, attendance of all four modules is required
At the end of each module, a one-on-one live online meeting with the instructor will take place, so that participants can proceed to the next module without gaps in their understanding or in their meditative developmental progress
Guidance and supervision sessions
For 6 months, starting from the completion of the 4th module, Michalis Mourtzis will be available to support your learning, help you overcome obstacles that may arise when teaching others, answer your personal questions, and provide inspiration in areas of growth
Support and guidance
Throughout the attendance of the on-demand modules, participants have the opportunity to communicate with the instructor via email and Zoom to resolve doubts and receive answers to their questions
